The Florida Esthetics License Program at Minik Academy is designed for individuals who want to grow professionally in the beauty industry and make a positive impact in their lives and others’.
In 220 hours of comprehensive training, you will learn:
- Skin foundations: anatomy, physiology, histology, skin analysis, and product chemistry.
- Facial treatments and techniques: manual and mechanical facials, facial massage, electrical equipment, extractions.
- Hair removal: professional waxing techniques.
- Makeup and eye design: basic makeup and lash application.
- Professional training: Florida laws and regulations, HIV/AIDS protocols, sanitation, ethics, and professional conduct.
You will also complete 70 hours of clinical practice (FS 111) performing facials, waxing, makeup, and lash applications in a real spa setting.
